Namibia



Namibia, officially the Republic of Namibia, is a country in southern Africa whose western border is the Atlantic Ocean. It shares land borders with Angola and Zambia to the north, Botswana to the east and South Africa to the south and east. It gained independence from South Africa on 21 March 1990, following the Namibian War of Independence. Its capital and largest city is Windhoek.

All visitors must be in possession of a passport which is valid for at least 6 months beyond intended departure date from Namibia and valid return ticket.

Entry into Namibia will be permitted for a maximum period of 90 days. Extension is possible on application to immigration authorities during stay in Namibia.

Nationals from the countries listed below are not required to obtain Visas to travel to Namibia:
