Gibraltar



Gibraltar is a British overseas territory located on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula at the entrance of the Mediterranean. It has an area of 6.8 square kilometres (2.6 sq mi) and a northern border with Andalusia, Spain. The Rock of Gibraltar is the major landmark of the region. At its foot is the densely populated city area, home to almost 30,000 Gibraltarians and other nationalities.

Visa requirements for Gibralter are roughly the same as the UK. EU nationals can visit with a national identity card, everyone else needs a passport.

Nationals from China, India, Mongolia, Morocco or Russia with a Multiple entry Schengen visa valid for at least 7 days after the date of departure can enter Gibralter for up to 21 days.

A UK visa that valid for more than one year can be used to visit. A six month UK visa is not valid for Gibralter.

Visas can be applied for at any United Kingdom embassy.
